Parallel is a new trading card game (TCG) currently in early development. Players can collect cards, build decks, and battle other players in online matches.

The game is set in a sci-fi universe and features five factions:

• Augencore,
• Earthen,
• Kathari,
• Marcolian; and
• Shroud.

One of the things that I liked about Parallel is the focus on lore. The game starts with a cinematic that sets the scene and introduces the five factions. The tutorial then follows through with the story. It helps to create a sense of attachment to the characters and the world.

The tutorial is well done and easy to understand, even if you're not familiar with TCGs. The tutorial covers the basics of the game, such as how to play cards, attack, and defend.

One of the unique things about Parallel is its energy system. Instead of using mana crystals, Parallel uses an energy system called the Bank. Players can "sacrifice" a card to increase their energy. It allows players to play more powerful cards. This adds a new layer of strategy to the game.

The rookie mode is a great way for players to learn the basics of the game. Players can familiarize themselves with all the heroes and cards. This is a great way to find a playstyle that you enjoy.

One of the downsides of Parallel is that the grind can be a bit slow. It takes some time to collect all the cards and to learn the different strategies. However, the game is still in early development. I'm sure that the developers will make it easier to progress over time.
